Elemental Sprite Illustrations

An ongoing personal project to develop fun, cute characters that inhabit a world together. You’ll find that some have “evolutions”, or “stages”, while others may be stand-alone, with others yet being unfinished ideas.

Mission: Continuously create new characters and build out a strong roster to fit into a vibrant world that can one day be developed into a video-game!

Flame Sprite

Burning with fiery energy, this small sprite is often finding itself in mischief. It’s “stage 1” form boasts a crown-like flame pattern, alluding to it’s eventual climb to royalty in stage 3. It’s stage 2 however, sees some awkward teenage growth, now carrying a metal training band, this form is frequently seeking out fights, and has developed fiery wisp hands in the process.

Form 3 sees the ascent to royalty complete; their flame now clearly burning in the shape of a crown, and their wisps having further developed into full-fledged hands.

Leaf Sprite

More likely tucked away in a bush or tree than out foraging, this sprite sports a leaf atop it’s head that acts both as camouflage and protection from the elements. The flower at the end of it’s stem-like tail is it’s proudest possession, and despite being adamantly dedicated to it’s protection, it can be found sharing it as a place of joy with other creatures.
